The second influence would definitely have to be the positive role model that Andrew Carnegie presented to others throughout his lifetime. When Carnegie donated 288 million dollars to the United States and 62 million dollars to the British Empire, people couldn’t help but show respect for all of his philanthropy. These actions have influenced people to become more munificent, to make our country a more peaceful, successful, and cultured place to live in. Andrew Carnegie most likely inspired others to show that same kind of passion, leading others to make donations to charities, museums, and places for education.
